Based on construction company Olvia order, STEM Engineering executed design of object “Reconstruction of Ladle Furnace & Continuous Casting shop with installation of Continuous Casting Machines №2 and №3. Water Treatment Plant and piping», i.e. stage P and stage DE (Working Documentation) for this particular object. Construction of water treatment plant for CCM №2, №3 with area of about 1500 m2 and water flow of about 4500 m3 / h for each caster was foreseen in this project. Design was executed based on engineering from SMS Group. Also, installation of engineering networks for entire complex of LFCC №2, №3, including oxygen, argon, gas, water supply, industrial and rain sewage was foreseen in project.

Project was implemented using BIM, which minimized occurrence of design errors and collisions, and applying value engineering methodology to optimize design solutions. During 2018 - 2019, construction and assembly works were carried out under supervision of STEM Engineering specialists. Project cost according to summary cost estimation is over UAH 300 million.
