STEM Engineering, in partnership with ARHIP LLC, has implemented project for METINVEST ENGINEERING LLC on technical re-equipment of production line of iron ore pellets for roasting machine Lurgi_278 in existing Pellet and Roasting shop №2 at industrial facility site of Pellet production shop №1 of PJSC Northern Iron Ore dressing Works. Installation of two-level three-products roller feeder with capacity of 650 t/h (Metal7), rocking feeder, conveyors for fine and coarse fractions cleaning was foreseen in project.

Also, installation of intensive mixer of raw materials with capacity of 400 t/h (EIRICH) was foreseen in project. Adopted technical solutions enabled to ensure homogeneity of mixture at level of 95%, and as consequence, to increase strength of pellet product for compression and abrasion, as well as reduce content of fines (-6.3 mm) in pellet product to less than 1.5%. Project was implemented using BIM and 3D modeling, which minimized occurrence of design errors and collisions during execution of construction works. During 2nd and 3rd quarters of 2019, installation works were carried out under supervision of STEM Engineering specialists.
